Full Time Case Facilitator Position- Day Program
Calls for Expressions of Interest
The Salvation Army Hobart Bridge Centre’s Day Program is currently seeking a full time Case Facilitator. This position is based at our facility in NewTown, Hobart.
The Day Program is delivered alongside the Residential Program, providing intensive intervention to those experiencing addiction.
The Case Facilitator position requires:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and experience in the AOD sector
• Knowledge and experience of therapeutic models, including CBT and REBT.
• Knowledge or willingness to acquire understanding of the Community Reinforcement Approach.
• Clear understanding of addiction and the issues which impact upon addiction
• Experience in working with both individuals and families
• Understanding of co morbidity and experience working with co morbid clients
• Experience in facilitation of therapeutic groups

First consultation on a National Compact between Aust Government and not-for-profit sector
Senator Ursula Stephens delivered an important speech on 22nd July 2008 marking the commencement of engagement with the not-for-profit sector on developing a national compact with the Australian Government. The speech sets out the purpose of such a Compact, possible elements, linkages with other national reform agendas, keys to success, threshold questions and next steps.
