Community Management Circles - Launceston
Managers and coordinators from businesses, schools, local government, utility providers etc are invited to join community service organisation managers in a “Community management circle” based in Launceston.
The aim is to develop the management skills of participants and support them to strengthen their services by sharing experience, skills, networks and resources.
An intorductory session will be held on Thursday November 10th in Launceston.

Public Education Alliance
TasCOSS has worked with a number of other concerned organisations to form and launch a Public Education Alliance.Teachers, parents and community organisations have joined together in the Alliance to fight proposed cuts in spending on public schools and push for
a new positive plan for public education in Tasmania.
The Public Education Alliance includes TasCOSS, the Australian Education Union (AEU), the Tasmanian State School Parents and Friends Inc (P&F), National Disability Services (NDS), the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Anglicare.
