Community Services Industry Plan 2009-2012
The Community Services Industry Plan 2009-2012 is driven and owned by community services organisations across Tasmania. The Industry Plan outlines the priorities of community services, the challenge will now be securing the resources to achieve the priorities. Achieving the sector's goals will require all members of the sector to work together and contribute to the strategies. To download a copy of the Inddustry Plan click here.

Next steps –  Implementation of the Industry Plan 2009

    1. An Industry Plan Reference Group that sits under the Community Services Peaks Network and works towards progress in the priority areas of the Plan has now been established. The Industry Plan Implemenation Committee has been drawn from not-for-profit community service providers and its members are:

• Therese Moore from YNOT (Chair)
• Anne Penney from Community Connections Inc.
• Therese Taylor from Colony 47
• Noel Mundy from Mission Australia
• Janis McKenna from Carers Tasmania
• Tom Muller from TasCOSS
• Amanda Quealy from The Hobart Clinic
• Des Graham from DHHS

    2. The release of a communications plan outlining how individual organisations can use and work to progress the priority areas of the Industry Plan.

   3. The release of a vision and values charter.

The Industry Plan has been developed under the auspice of the Community Services Peaks Network by a representative Steering Group. The development of the Plan has been facilitated by TasCOSS.
